Jean Yann Records presents Eyes Wide Open, Alex Daniell’s third single from his upcoming album due later in the Fall.
More than a track or a song, this single is what we can call a piece. "Eyes Wide Open" is a downtempo, progressive electronica track with melodic and psychedelic touches. Distorted and deep, this title is meant for powerful speakers and subs - watch that EQ. The vibrant distortions, punctuated by deep and volatile vocals have a trippy and mesmerizing feel. Alex makes a virtuose use of snares in the track creating a somewhat dark atmosphere just like the minutes preceding a storm. Dark clouds, thunder, and electric tension just like strobe lights, sweat and woofers seem to all hide within this stunning production.
